For sale is my original Astra F GSi with 16V engine.

- C18XE with original ~193 000 kilometers (new timing belt kit + V-belt kit 04/2024)
- Bilstein B10 kit (60/40 lowering)
- Borbet C 17x7.5 with new 205/40 17 Hankook Ventus V12 + Eibach 15mm spacers in the rear

- MOMO Monte Carlo steering wheel 35mm
- Pioneer headunit (CD and radio only) with upgraded/built in sound system
- lots of sound deadening

- MINIMAL bodywork done, most of the metal is original and RUST FREE
- re-painted in Mazda "Winning Blue"
- 2 step polishing + ceramic coating (3 years/80 000 km) done in 04/2024

- new OE headlights (Carello) and sidelights (Britax, made in England)
- new OE taillights (SWF, made in Germany)

Well kept and correctly maintained. Most of it's life it has been a garage queen (no snow or salt since 2010 or earlier). Only premium spareparts have been used to keep this car "as good as possible". First choice has been original GM parts, if there has been availability.

Keep in mind that this is a clean example of a GSi that turned 30 this year. Youngtimers, such as this, have always something that needs to be improved. But nothing that needs urgent attention - I have taken care of all mechanical problems and have already enjoyed this car for more than 6000 kilometers this season.

Price is 7700 EUR.

I am selling this car only because I don't have another choice - I have lost my job and there are other factors that make it complicated to keep it. Considering the fact that I have spent ~9500 euros to own this car as it is today, then it is already quite a minus project for me. Please respect that factor and don't make me any dumb offers. The car is located in Estonia, Tartu. It has MOT/TÜV and insurance and is ready for adventures.

It really does stand out from the crowd with that color. Though I myself prefer a fresh Spectral Blue original color, it's the best and suits the 90s classic a lot more. But this "Winning Blue" really brings out the lines of the GSi model very well.

In my time of owning these special cars that Opel made in the 90s, I have come to a conclusion that they made the best job possible. Alright, maybe except the wheels and suspension. But the rest is just perfect for me. I now have spent a lot of time and money to bring this car back to it's original factory form - the latest doing was getting rid of blue LED-s from the dashboard and board computer. Original yellow-orange lightning with halogen bulbs is the best - you can see it in the daylight perfectly and it doesn't blind you in the dark. It's all about these small details.

I will share some pictures from the start of my journey. I had already installed MOMO steering wheel and NEW original SWF taillights (instead of DEPO dark tuning ones).









So instead of this tuning from 2010, I valued the OE factory look with slight modifications. All new OE headlights by Carello and turn signals by Britax, with the original grille (which is the only one that fits the front bumper perfectly) - it took me two attempts to get it perfected. Together more than 16 hours to get it lined up so I could be happy with it. That's how invested I have been.

If I read your story on here and the Mk03 forum you should never let go on this GSI to be honest.
You've got so so much passion, time and effort into this GSI that it will haunt you forever if you get it sold.

Naturally for me it's easy to say since I can't tell anything on your personal situation and you must have thought this through.
I hope another solution or nice job will quickly arrise.
