v6 Conversion,

my redtop has a nasty bottom end knock so i went out and bought a calibra v6 2.5 Manual, now this has a f25 gearbox on, from my understand off vauxhall's / opels this engine and box should bolt stright into my mk3 GSi, how ever the only thing im worryed about is that reverse is in a diffrent place its below 5th so basicaly can you use a f25box in a mk3 gsi,

yeah you can use a F25 gearbox in a astra gsi

Isn't reverse in the regular place, next to first?
And so what if it's below 5th. My 6th gear is also below 5th and it works like a charm

Yes u can use it, pull the gear knob off, rotate the plastic gear leaver 180 degree and u can get it in reverse normaly.
