Re: My GSi,
Welcome! Nice car, very nice Irmscher steeringwheel & stick.
You came to the right place for info about V6 conversions. There is some experience around here with that kind of work.
Good luck with all of your plans. If you like to be able to read more about what's going on overhere, you should take a course Dutch .

V6 is becoming more and more popular. Would love to do this as well, but prefer putting in a C20LET if i had the money.

And that is indeed the most easy way. Strip what you need, sell the rest again.

Re: My GSi,
Yes, a f20 will fit, but you need a spacer between engine and gearbox, or spacers between the right engine mount.
The spacer between engine and gearbox is the best option, and available by Rally-astra (on this forum) who has his own shop.
Automatic gearbox away, and f20 with a proper flywheel and clutch is no problem
I thougt you have to make a little change in your wiring looms but i don't know exactly.
on the german forum http://www.mv6.de" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is a lot of info, but i don't know if you can understand their language...

Re: My GSi,
From what I know the f25 is usable, but you'll probably need to modify your stick mechanism because of the reverse safety, or you need to take that from the Calibra as well.
Maybe RallyAstra (Rellie op 't Werk) can give you exclusion on this one.
